It’s time for me to vent a little, shoot some cool breeze about you… luckily only metaphysically.
Hurricane Bill avoided all land masses! You weaved artfully, away from shorelines, even avoiding a head on collision with Placentia, Nova Scotia. At first there were indications the $130 billion insurance haven of Bermuda would get a pounding, but your true compassionate nature prevailed, not to mention the fact that Bill Clinton was there trying to cool down Hillary after the North Korean hostage release caper. Basically you made big waves, what else is new? You also took the opportunity to delay the Obamas’ vacation by a few hours. Besides the usual careless bathers and some imprudent onlookers at Thunder Hole who were nearly all plucked back to life (except the Chinese girl), you came through with flying colors. Surfers and shell collectors had a great time, and I can attest that everyone living in your path felt blessed as you passed by.
